CBO Purchases Copy of “The Total Money Makeover” by Dave Ramsey
WASHINGTON, D.C. – It is no secret that the U.S. debt has spun entirely out of control. Now sitting over $19 trillion, the Congressional Budget Office is considering new, bipartisan solutions to try and fix this debt crisis. In a bold move, the Office has procured a copy of “The Total Money Makeover” for $14.39 in order to try and figure out how to fix the problem at hand.
“This book has 4.5/5 on Barnes and Noble”, said Keith Hall, director of the CBO “I saw Dave Ramsey on Fox News a while back and thought, ‘maybe that’s our solution’”.
Sources inside the CBO say that the one purchased copy is all they could afford on the current federal budget, and must be shared between all CBO employees.
“It’s a long planning process” Director Hall said, “but I think it’s necessary in order for us to then begin the real brainstorming of how we will formulate a framework for tackling this issue”.
CRP has been unable to clarify what this means.
The CBO employs hundreds of hard working Americans every day. Current tentative projections estimate that the book should be completely read by every employee roughly before the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Reports indicate that members of the CBO team have also started using cash instead of card, claiming that there is just something about the money leaving their hands that makes it more noticeable. Additionally, Director Hall has signed off on a new policy in which all CBO employees will carry a small, pocket sized “My Spending Notebook” where all spending will be documented until the debt crisis is resolved.
