Philippines President Duterte Requests Nuclear Weapons To Use On Own Country
Manila, Philippines – President Rodrigo Duterte is no stranger to heavy handed policing in his country. He has even established a state of martial law in an attempt to rid the Philippines of drug dealers and abusers. But Duterte is bringing out the big guns to deal with the sudden rise of ISIS militants in his country.
In a plea made to President Trump, Duterte requested that a number of nuclear warheads be sent to Manila in order to “deal with ISIS”. Although drastic, the brutal tactic of dropping a nuclear bomb on his own people is on par with his no-nonsense attitude. Trump reportedly considered, but eventually declined, citing “an unfair trade”. It is unclear if this discussion has been halted altogether or is in the process of deliberation.
